Well I am not sure where you are located but most of the Staples Business Depots in Canada have Print and Copy Centers in them where you can make all sorts of custom wedding items. We made wine labels and favor tags for our wedding that are just beautiful.... we took in our own design and the printed them up. Prices were very reasonable too. ($30 CAN for 60 wine labels and $40 CAN for 100 favor tags) I know they do invitations, RSVP's thank you cards, programs, CD labels etc etc for weddings as well. Anyway, you could use a picture of the 2 of you or find any picture that you think would be suitable. Good luck!

I don't know how big of a wedding you are planning but a friend of mine had a rather small wedding. And she made her invitations with metal sand buckets filled them with sand, shells and starfish and very small soda bottles inside the soda bottles was the actually invitation. So it was kinda like finding a message in a bottle on the beach. VERY CUTE!

I saw glass love tokens on ebay, I typed glass love token in and it came up with a few, they can be used as wedding invites. Or how about scrolls printed on rainbow paper? You could then add some shells to the postal tube.

You could mail out invites in bottle with sand and shells inside and maybe a little paper rainbow cutout. You can mail the plastic bottles, or get glass ones and mail them in a small box. here's what it would look like: http://www.ebottles.com/articles/make-a-message-in-a-bottle.html
you can do some searches on google to buy the things - they're everywhere!
-or-
your invite could be like a postcard with an image of a rainbow or sunset or beach (or 3 different ones). it could be folded in half (to look like a birthday card) so you can have the information on the inside and the image on the outside and the address on the outside on the back!
here's kinda what it could look like folded: http://www.modernpostcard.com/products_services/products/folded_postcards/greeting_cards/
God Bless!
