I have noticed that if I do cardio excercise shortly after eating something, I usually get sharp pains in my stomach within a few minutes of beginning my workout. I was told that this is because I just ate. Does anyone know the physiological explanation of why i'm feeling these pains?

Its simple food inside goes squishy when you jump around. Because you just ate sounds like a good reason to me.
