give him a common 'person' name, such as Bob, which shall be his 'legal' name.. and then as you get to know his personality, youll probably give him little nicknames according to his behavior, and one of those shall turn into the perfect name for him!!

this is what i do w/ my pets..

i named my cat Max (which is the name i write on all vet paperwork and stuff) but now he is called "Boosh"

just saw the answerer who said:
"How about Shiro? It means white in Japanese..." i think that is THE perfect name for ur dog, especially because pronouncing 'shiroh' sounds like a japanese person saying 'shiloh' ..... lol....... =)

Hello Echo. Im from Philippines and our language is Filipino and we have 103 different languages. Our national language is "TAGALOG".

Why don't give him the TAGALOG translation of the word "White" which is "PUTI".
