of course that happens, think about it. All (female) breasts are is fat, tissue, skin, etc. w/ little muscle. When you work out, you burn fat, replacing it with muscle, which weighs more than fat too. A good way to not lose your chest size is to try to keep from working out that area, or even do what I've had suggested to me by a trainer at the local gym- she told me to work out my chest, just a bit, get some muscle underneath and that helps w/ appearing larger/ perkier/nicer and will keep them in tact more ( Harder to lose muscle weight that fat weight.

Well...it could, but it's certainly not a given. The good news is that the rest of you gets smaller as well, so it all balances out. :) I did go down half a cup size when I lost weight, but I was more than 70 lbs. overweight, so for me it was a completely fair trade. Unless you've got a lot to take off, you likely won't see any change. Being active and eating healthy can only be good for your body, so don't let silly myths like that stop you! Best wishes and good luck.

If you are a overweight, and by that I mean with a high body fat percentage then yes you would lose a little. But only because some of that contributed fat tissue shouldn't be there. When I lost a ton of weight and weighed 110lbs, I went from a 38C to a 34, barely.

Yes, indeed. But depend on the intensity and how much work out you are doing, especially the cardio work out. Cardio work out will burn your entire body fat including the breasts. Notice such as Olympic Marathon runner, they hardly have any nice size breasts. So as top level body builders. But for Sprinters, its not the case. If you are working out to stay fit by doing a moderate work out, it will not affect you. If you did a heavy duty weight lifting, or high intensity cardio 4 to 6 days per week, you will build a large enough muscles and loose body fat. The built muscle gives no space for body fat to come in. The fat will be fat, muscles will be muscle, they do not suddenly turn on to one another. If you are working out to stay healthy and fit, do a moderate work out 3 times a week, 30 min max. It should be OK. Drink LOTS of clear fluid, and eat good fat mostly from veggies.

Breast tissue is usually fatty tissue. If you do exercises like heavy bench presses you will develop a muscular chest like Arnold Schwarzenegger, which is not the type of chest you want. It's usually bodybuilding types of workouts that will do that to your chest. I would recommend that you do cardio instead of building muscle. A flat stomach will help your chest look larger.

Because breast tissue is made up of fat, if you loose body fat, it is possible to lose weight in your breasts as well. When you work out, and tone the muscels under the breasts, the can actually appear perkier. Overall the benefits of weight loss and good fitness are much better for you then keeping your breasts slightly fuller. Also, depending on how old you are, don't worry about it, many women's breasts get larger as they grow out of their teen years.

most definitely! Because our breast consist mostly of fatty tissues or adipose tissues. And when a girl works out, she will definitely lose some of percent of those fat around the breast which causes a decrease in size...but I wouldn't worry too much on the size because it will even enhance your physique and your body will even-out. And those models you see with huge breast & are super skinny are all fakes and filled with implants.

No, actually it's works. When I was around 18 I had heard the same thing and so everyday when i could i would massage all around them w/ my finger tips and one day i thot, geeze my boobs got bigger and i had made a trip back home and the first thing family/friends asked was if i was pregnant because my boobs were bigger then they were 6 mo before. So, I swear by the massage technique.

It can happen. It happened to me when I lost weight, and a friend of mine, I went down one cup size, and she went down two. So, yes, it's true.
