Hi Emma,

Firstly, it all ways seems to happen if someone mentions medium ship, the born again Christians come rallying round preaching about Satan, telling us mediums are evil. Just because there is something on Gods green earth we don't understand doesn't make it evil(my opinion).
I have had correspondence from someone who has the gift, she id not tell me my fortune, she merely helped me understand the experience I was having, she validated my experience, advised me how to handle it, and at no time did I give her any info, she was able to tell me, she was right, she took no money, nor did she ask for any, and yes it confirmed my personal beliefs on what was occurring and why. I hope you understand this answer and it is useful to you. x

Mediums can be 'cursed' and 'blessed' at the same time. Mediums can be fraudsters and genuine. The point about mediumship is it is a gift and you need to use it wisely. It is like being able to open the door to another world or level and hear and see things others can't. Sometimes the messages they get aren't always what people want to hear or they might be cryptic/hard to understand . The medium is only passing messages on. It might not change your life, but it will give you comfort to know people are still watching over you and caring for you, even after they have left this earthly plain.
Therefore I have had a few readings from mediums and they have taught me more understanding of what it is to be a medium and that alot of the time mediumship is not just about the individual!

Yes I have had a reading in the past before I was saved. I also use to be a reader and had a friend who still is. Notice I say "had?" Readers get their sources from satan. You can argue this point all you want, but it sure seems strange that some meduims and psychics can only talk to the dead. Well, the truth is, they are not talking to the dead, but instead they are talking to the fallen angels destined for hell. Why can't a medium talk to an alive person's spirit who is far away? After all, it is a spirit, correct? So why can't this medium communicate to him/her WITHOUT first informing them? Also why can't mediums just tell things without all the questions first? Here is the reason. God is the only one who has control of our souls. When we die we either go to Heaven or hell! We do not float around the earth and come back and answer questions through mediums to make the living feel better. Anyone who tells you that you can is a liar! In the Bible it clearly says that God is against this kind of activity and those who participate will be in the lake of fire. Don't get me wrong, you can repent and turn to Jesus. There is nothing any MAN on earth can say to make me think any different than I do now. I am a born again Christian and I burned all my tarot cards and books, etc. The devil can keep his cheap short thrill garbage! I would rather be in Heaven with Jesus some day. The devil has never done a thing for me except make my life miserable, and to top it off, he cannot keep a promise so he lies! However, Jesus died for me so I can be forgiven of sins and have everlasting life in Heaven forever!

Not really to do with the question. But last year and up till recently alot of stuff was happening at home and i was dignosed with depression. I saw something in the front room when i was really down and it toushed me. I do believe itwas a close family member that had passed over. And from that moment i began to get stronger and i still see this certain someone every now and again. I went a few months without going out and last week was the first time i went out byself because i feel inside me that that family member stays with me. I think f you are thinking about havin a reading done is to go and sit in on one of those meetings they have and see if you like the person doing it then go for it. You dont have nothing to lose.

I have had many readings from mediums, some are so accurate its unbeleivable, and others im afraid are just charlatons out to make money at the expense of peoples grief, I personally have been a member of the spiritualist church for many years, and am a true believer, we are all christians, we just belong to different church,s. one very good reading was many years ago, i only had two children at the time and was very happily married, but the medium said i would have another chil, it would be a boy, and that i would have a prolonged illness in my mid forties, also i would get married again to a foregn man, this all happened, i have aslo astral travelled and have seen spirit myself. i would never push my religion into peoples faces, its up to you to find your own beliefs. good luck.

Before I became a Christian I've been to them and their answers were so bland that it could apply to anyone. She told me she seen a fight with my husband and how much it hurt me..lol..very common thing. She told me she didnt see anymore children in my future and I ended up getting pregnant a few years later, but it was after I became a Christian and my church family was praying for it. I've had to many answered prayers and have felt the power of God in my life to ever consider changing. Not even if someone had a gun to my 19mths old head would I deny Christ. It might seem cruel, but I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit with all of my heart. God bless

Yes, several times in my life. I met people who told me lies, many lies. I met only one lady that told me everything that would happen in my near future and everything came to happen. She even told me my father would pass away in 2 years and he really did. Amazing!!

However, future tellers are a very intrinsic subject. As I believe in spirits, I can say that there are good and bad ones. Many times the bad ones tell the medium lies just to fool people, and play with them. Not all spirits know the future, they are not allowed to know everything. Besides, the future is not something for us to find out before hand.

Mediumship is something very serious and delicate. The medium has to be well assisted to develop his/her ability properly, with full control of him/herself, otherwise the medium become an instrument in bad spirits hands. That's why Spiritism, my religion, is so serious about it.

Peace!

I never go around them.
Nothing will change what I believe, that why I believe it. AND, I not try to change what others believe, why should I, as we all know the different beliefs of people. We big boys and girls now and capable of making our own decisions and suffering the consequences of those decisions.

I only paid for a reading from a fortune teller once, and I ignored it and her advice.

But she turned out to be right.

Nope, and you'd have to pay me or treat me or just give me nice stuff [I guarantee it would not change a thing].
