Sufis are Sunni Muslims ,they practice Islam the same as any Muslim, but they are very spiritual and they meditate.they use chanting and meditation as a form of worship, they never get mixed up with politics, they are very in peace with them selves and others.most converts convert after they come to know islam through sufism.sufism is form of purification of the soul.it's a beautiful way to worship.even nonmuslims practice sufism.

Sects are forbidden and that i dont trust sects easy as that. playstation Sunni isn't a sect. Sunni ability to maintain on with the Sunnah and ALL Muslims devoid of exception are to do this ergo a Shia may be a Sunni Shia a Sufi a Sunni Sufi etc people are incorrect while they assume Sunni ability a sect of Islam it would not. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never called himself something yet a Muslim i'm a Muslim its no longer proceeded with the different notice. i'm recommended by ability of God to maintain on with the Quran and the Sunnah that would not make me area of a sect and it would not recommend i visit be labelled a ''Sunni'' to healthful others time table. (playstation i'm no longer relating you in my view yet others specifically)

May the peace, blessing and mercy of God be upon you

I believe that any Muslim who uses a title other than Muslim, or associates him with a sect has deviated from truth.

It is quite simple really, did the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him call him self a sufi?

For them are their deeds, I have yet to study their practices in more detail, but I do know they are more mystical, their practices are considered heretical.

I do know they try and look for hidden meanings in the Qu'ran and do some odd meditative things.... both of which are Bidah (this means innovations which are forbidden in the religion)

Peace Be With You

sorry don't know much about them.
but if they are another sect of Islam then just to let you know
The prophet (pbuh) said do not split the Muslim ummah (ummah means nation or community) into sects and different tribes. For Muslims are to be one and together.
So when a person asks me what i am i say "i am Muslim"
and when they ask if i am Sunni or shia i say "i am Muslim" again, even though i am raised Sunni.

God Bless

Everyone has the right to practise whatever religion they want. I dont see any reason for the fighting over this. Personaly i think the fighting is about money and power more so than religion.
