ok, i read into this sub, since ive never heard of xsite, id suggest the kicker zx750.1 amp because it usually pushes out 930 watts, guaranteed by the cert. it comes with, giving it 1k watts is almost a guarantee to cook the coils/ blow the sub. break the sub in at less than half power for around 20 hours before turning it up anymore, this will help the sub live longer.

back breaker, do u know nething bout car audio?
1, he asked for an amp for his sub, not names of overated companys whose workmanship is slightly better than adequate at best
2. when did he say he needed an amp for his speakers
3. a 750 watt amp is prolly the dumbest thing u could say, a 4 channel amp is for speakers not a mono, learn somethin bout car audio before makin suggestions to people who know more than u in the first place

If anything, be sure the amp you buy is CEA-2006 compliant.

Be sure the amp is around 900-1000 watts RMS @ 2ohms.

The sub will be wired like so http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SINGLE-PARALLEL.jpg

_____________

In my 25 years, Iv'e never had to "break the sub in at less than half power for around 20 hours before turning it up anymore"

It's a coil, not a tube amplifier. There's nothing to 'break in'.

The real question is how much money do you want to spend. If money is not a problem go with pheonix gold. If you want something that sounds good and dont want to spend to much money get JL, kenwood, or Infinity.

For your speakers you should get at least a 750w one channel amp.
