I ask a question I get a hurtful answer. Just because I have social anxiety does not mean that I refuse to take responsibility in my life. I never wanted to turn out this way at all. But apparently as a little girl my mind decided otherwise from being bullied so much.

And then this person has the decency to type "If not, suicide is always an option"

What a horrible attitude about life. I may have a fear but I don't want to go out and kill myself.

"If not, suicide is always an option" --- actually I think the person who told you this is just being funny. But of course he should have told you that he was only joking.

Good luck on your problem, even if you do not find your answer here, I know eventually you will find what you are searching for.

Hi Lalena,

Unfortunately there are rude hurtful people in this world, mental illness or not, that is no excuse for this type of behaviour. It's sad, but society today seem to tolerate and condone this behaviour letting people get away with doing this to them self's and others and not speak out against it.

I'm sorry and feel bad that you have had to experience this, you can not help how you feel all you can do is get the necessary help available and work around it to the best of your ability. Unless an individual understands from personal experience what you are experiencing they have no right to judge you like that. I suffer from sever depression and have had on many occasions very hurtful and devastating things said too my face. These people had no clue what they were talking about, let alone how their words were effecting me. If those of us with any kind of mental illness could get rid of the conditions we have, I know we would. Your best bet is to ignore these people to the best of your ability, I know that's easier said than done at times.

Sincerely,

Alice H.

i was bullied and i hated in and have become a person who always keeps to myself because i'm afraid of an someone saying something hurtful. It always happens, even when i'm being completely serious and honest people have always been that way with me. so i've gotta use to it because some people are just rude and go out there way to mean. i'm not sure way but they dont so just try to forget about people saying the hurtfuls things to you and move on.

Too many people are too mean these days but it's their problem, not yours. You just have to ignore them because they are not worth being sad about. Some people might even be mean without knowing it. It's easy to let out mean words come out of your mouth, but it's hard to imagine what it feels like from the outside. Sometimes you have to understand people, because it's their own problems that bothers them, not yours. Maybe they are so insecure that in order to make themselves feel better, they put other people down.

Good on you, of course suicide is not an option. Just ignore stupid answers, and read the ones from the people who are sincere in trying to help you.

Unfortunatly, the animonity of the internet tends to bring out the worst in people.

If we could be forced to be held accountable for everything we type, people might be a little more civil to each other.

But this is the beast of the internet......

I'm sorry. =[ I don't know why people act so cold. My sister has some problems interacting in public, but with God's help she's getting more "friendly." *cyber hug*
