YES it happens daily, that's why the DMV clerk has you check the paperwork they print before you sign your name on it & walk away from the counter. They are asking you to double check what they've entered....8 times huh?

I have been driving for 35 years. They still have my Address, Height, and DOB wrong. I have verified the information multiple times when I have renewed my license and they still get in incorrect. I know this because the date on my first license was 02/17/## the DOB on my 2nd license was 01/16/## then on my 3rd the got my DOB correct but I suddenly shrunk a foot down to 5'5. I walked back up to the counter and asked them if they where going to manage to get it correct some time that day. And pointed out my height to them. This time around my birth day was 11/17/## I just shook my head and walked out. The problem is they really just do not care. Its a government job and they do not have to help the general public as efficiently as possible they just have to be there to fill the order rather it is correct or not. Like they say "Close enough for government work."

well this has happened to me but the reason for this is for the fact that all of your information is all ready in the computer so when you go to get a new one all they have to do is update your picture and address if needed
