I was wondering about this should one date another that is oh lets say 20 years older than them or does that matter if the two really like each other and enjoy being together or is this wrong or should one feel guilt or bad about being part of this?

after a thourough search, I can tell you that the only restriction on age, since you are beginning a symptom of hang up, that the only problem with any age difference between men and women are if one of them is under the age of consent which in most states is 18. After that it is pretty much up to the individual to determine what is right for them. If you are bothered by age or your mind is in conflict about right and wrong in setting a belief why not try determining for yourself and be an authority with what you believe by dating in different age groups instead of following someone elses passed on belief that there is a rule of thumb in determining how young or old a person should be to be with another. Then you can offer words of wisdom, based on experience to support your statements of belief as opposed to regurgitating someone else's belief based on what they heard. Be an insightful leader with respected ideas not a follower and passing of rumor or what you heard as fact.

When I was 21 I was in a relationship w/ a 37 year old man. The age difference wasn't a big deal for us at all.

I'd say it depends on the people involved (as long as they're over 18, obviously), because it definitely can work out!

If the one person was oh lets say 18 and the other person was 20 years older then I guess that would be okay because they are both adults. Any younger then there may be a problem.

If he treats you with appreciate and you're nevertheless following the guidelines of the abode then your mum and dad would desire to evaluate. yet, if that is in basic terms that your mum and dad are no longer waiting which you will this factor specifically then possibly you will desire to hearken to them. mum and dad in basic terms look out for what's ultimate for thier toddlers. i comprehend that is not any longer hassle-free being sixteen and questioning you comprehend what you prefer yet undergo in concepts your mum and dad have been around a protracted time. Dont push a courting too no longer hassle-free...only preserve a healthful friendship and your mum and dad will extremely advance to love him if he's all which you assert he's. good success!

I have a very hard time imagining that two people with that huge of an age gap could ever have enough in common to make it work. I'm not saing it couldn't ever happen, I'm just saying the odds are not good that it would ever be very meaningful or that it would last.

That is hard to say, but it can work out. But it take sex and love to make a relationship work. A relationship can't survive without the both of these, why be in a relationship if there is no love and if there is no love, there will be no sex.

absolutely nothing is wrong about it unless you're just going for him because of the money. there are pros and cons though. you gotta be strong mentally. people are gonna talk a lot if the age difference is too onbious, and you just gotta hang on in there. besides that, everything's good.

It should not matter if you are both at a legal age and you truly care for each other.

for me.. age doesn't really matters... as long as they can both handle their relationship right and as long as they love each other.... age shouln't be a hindrance for two hearts long to love each other... as long as their happy being together and they're not doing anything against the people aroung them, i can't see anything wrong with it...
