This really gorgeous guy came up to me today and told me he knew me from somewhere. My co worker told me he was trying to talk to me. I just brushed it off. How can I make myself easier to approach? I want to meet guys, but I am scared. Of what I don't know.

He was probably just trying to talk to you. Just act natural and ask a lot of questions. Sometimes it's hard to talk to strangers, and if that isn't your thing, it's OK. There are other ways to meet people than random strangers. If it's something you want to work on, though, you might want to try a group like Toastmasters, which helps people confront their insecurity and come out of their shell in public.

just relax. look confident and put your head up high. Have good posture. Do something to make you feel better about yourself. I was the same way you are and I went through the same thing. After a while it got to a point where I just relaxed and more people approached me.

the most approachable person is someone that is smiling. look happy and kind. if your sitting there with tight lips and a funny look on your face cause your nervous the guy is likely to stay clear. its hard to do but try act confident. smile and try keep the conversation going.

aTell him yeah you know me alright perhaps in your dreams,I don't know you.Say with a smart *** smirk on your face,you know the questionable look,where he's got that confused look on his face.You know the one where he's thinking is this girl being sarcastic or is she just plain being mean?That way it still leaves room for conversation if he replies "oh your a smart *** huh?"Just tell him "ugh no,just sure he wasn't the same guy you were dreaming about,there for you don't know him".lol,jk.Good luck,I feel a lot of men like it when a woman jokes,it loosens the tension a bit.

try seeing if you can smile at some strangers , this might be a good way for you to see how people react. this way you will be able to compare to your usual reactions. And you can decide how you might be able to change to become more open to others

just try to act calm and be yourself because if you act like someone else than you wont get very far. if you're interested say so, if not maybe you guys can just be friends. whatever you do....Just do it and do it with passion!
