As much as I want to find some logic or positive out of your little fit, I simply cannot.
The very same words that you have used in name calling will come back to you in a very short time. They(your critisisms) are already being formed to return unto you and in a stronger way then you presented. Basically, those you just insulted are saying the same things about you. And not only you but about Jesus.
I am a Christian man and a minister as well and I am offended by your open disrespect toward other people. The Gospel does not need you or anyone else to defend it. God will deal with it. He created it all so I think He can take care of things better than we can.
Do not debate with non-believers. Did Jesus? NO! He said what He said and moved on. From the moment they heard the truth, they had two choices. Either accept it or reject it.
Personally, you should apologize to anyone that has seen or will see this very inflamatory "thing" you wrote.

Everybody believes in what they think it is true. Why does it bother you anyway? The other day, some one (Christian) said to me: "you have a false hope..." simply because I believe in spirits. Well, I said: "if this is my hope, it is not false to me..." The same thing about what you said. If Evolution makes sense to some people, it is not a lie to them.
Let me tell you what I believe (evolution or creation). I believe God used Genesis as a way to get to people's heart. I believe Adam and Eve really existed, but they might not be necessarily the first couple. However, nobody can know the very beginning. We might have come from apes... I wouldn't say no, especially with scientific evidences, and I believe that Science is also an expression from God. Whatever is behind in the past that I cant understand, I don't worry too much. If we came from apes and we are still in evolution, I also believe that that evolution happens spiritually too, so I believe we have several lives, so that our spirits walk the same progress.
Just theory... just wondering...
Peace!

Amazing that nearly nobody picked up on your subtle use of the exact same things that have been said so many times by your opponents. I would give full points and bonus stars to Gabriel for not only calling your bluff, but also for truly laying all the cards on the table from both sides. I did laugh out loud at your clever wit. However, in retrospect, it really didn't accomplish much except a smile, did it? Here's to your using your powers for good...

The best way to get to them, is to completely ignore them, don't ask them anything and don't acknowledge their questions or remarks, just leave them to themselves, completely. None of them would give me the one thing I ask for, a fossil of a lizard that's front appendages aren't legs anymore but yet aren't fully developed wings either, or some similar fossil where something is not fully developed, they just give links that show artists or scientists drawings or renditions of fully developed creatures and called them links, it's just foolishness. Satan has twisted their minds and has them blinded to the truth. If there are so called Christians that believe in evolution then they should be ashamed of themselves for not believing God's word, so then how could they call themselves Christians? Satan has become successful with them too. Read Genesis 1:11,24 creation bears only it's own kind, an apple tree will only produce apple trees as the seed it produces will only grow an apple tree, and the same with all living creatures, they will only produce their own kind.

I agree with you, evolution is not 100% proven but everything in bible prophecy over the years has came true. But for the evolution part nobody knows what the first humans God made looked like so the theory of evolution could be PARTLY true also. But everything in the bible if you study all of Gods laws make since if you study the consequences in encyclopedias and such. We even use the Ten Commandments in our laws now that the Police enforce everyday.
I have never believed in evolution and don't know how somebody can't know there is a God.

Aren't these debates always fun?!
While Christian fundamentalists are renowned for being overly-opinionated; the same goes for the atheists, agnostics, and members of fanatical cult-like religious denominations - like Pagans & polytheists.
While it is impossible for anyone to point out any undeniable truth or verified Christian "miracle" (that proves to be unequivocally true), it is equally as impossible for the evolutionists to prove that humans evolved from single-celled organisms... or for the scientists and astronomers to prove - beyond the shadow of a doubt - that the universe was magically created by some galactic fart popularly referred to as the "big-bang theory".
Everything boils down to faith. There's no intrinsically sound theory on either side... it's your decision to follow the path that you believe is right. I'm a Christian, but I won't debate an atheist person based solely on the fact that I don't share their theological point of views (or lack thereof). If they want to attack my religion, that's fine, I'll attack theirs with equal veracity...but, my stance on the subject could be viewed as pure conjecture, just as theirs also would. Which effectively makes all points invalid on either side of the spectrum.
Keep spreading the good word... but don't push too hard when you find someone who doesn't share your opinion. It only leads to bitter stalemates.

I felt like I didn't know if I wanted to be responsible either a while back, but then I knew that sharing my belief in God/Jesus and stating the truth of the Bible, and even stating that certain things are wrong according to the Word of God, can never be something I should fear or worry about. That I'm doing the Will of God by witnessing and sharing Truth with others. If someone chooses to do something crazy, then that would be satan's attack on them. Satan deceives many. I plant the seed, and I let God deal with the rest. I do believe we need to treat others with respect with no bashing. Like the saying goes "just stick to the facts".

Whew! How refreshing to see a fellow believer take it to the other side!!! Matt, did you ever take notice that alot of atheists who deny the existence of God believe in alien civilizations from some far galaxy? I could just never follow that line of "thought". Putting aside trying to persuade these people, here are a few gems for you to enjoy.
"The theory of evolution suffers from grave defects which are more and more apparent as time advances. It can no longer square with practical scientific knowledge."- Dr. A. Fleishmann, Zoologist, Erlangen University.
"The pathetic thing is that we have scientists who are trying to prove evolution, which no scientist can ever prove."- Dr Robert Millikan, Nobel Prize winner and eminent evolutionist.
"It is good to keep in mind ... that nobody has ever succeeded in producing even one new species by the accumulation of micromutations. Darwin's theory of natural selection HAS NEVER HAD ANY PROOF, yet it has been universally accepted."-Prof. R. Goldschmidt, Ph.D., DSc Prof. Zoology, University of Calif. in Material Basis of Evolution, Yale Univ. Press.
"A growing number of respectable scientists are defecting from the evolutionist camp...moreover, for the most part, these experts have abandoned Darwinism, not on the basis of religious faith or biblical persuasions, but on scientific grounds, and in some instances, regretfully."- Wolfgang Smith, Ph.D., physicist and mathematician.
"My attempts to demonstrate evolution by experiments carried on for more than 40 years have completely failed." N.H. Nilson, famous Botanist and Evolutionist.
Go to www.giveshare.org to get the rest. It goes on and on in fine detail about how the whole "THEORY" (NOT fact) of evolution is one GIANT hoax that has given shallow-minded people one deception after another to swallow. Think about this- even Darwin himself said that it was ALL a "THEORY", yet look at the number of legal cases in which alledgedley "unbiased" judges ruled that evolution was a "science", and could be taught in high-schools to kids who simply are not sophisticated enough to undersatand the larger picture and what's at stake: their own souls. Well, for example, look at the first two morons to respond to your post. Can this somehow, on ANY level, be considered a logical, rational, non-fallacious example of a well formed chain of reasoning? Yet, these primate wanna-bes, time and again, display unsparingly that this is the best they can do. People of this ilk who are as mentally challenged as they appear to be, make it obvious at once of their need for daily illusion. They are like the proverbial blind man in a dark room searching for a black cat that isn't there. And they say that us believers have reality distortions? I do believe a little cognitive restructuring is in order for such sad, little, mental pygmys wallowing around in their willful ignorance. Blessings and peace be upon you.

Many people argue the evolution point because they have no other answers. This is all they were given as young children in explanation of the existence of man. Nevermind that its been since disproven on several accounts. Nevermind that it was never intended to be presented as fact, but rather as an educated guess. Nevermind that its originator later recanted.
I don't pretend to have all the answers but I'd rather say, "I don't know" than to believe in and teach to my children a half truth.
