No. Buddha lived several hundred years before Jesus.

Jesus never travelled to India, before his three and a half yrs. of ministry. He learned the carpentry trade from his father Joseph, and continued in this trade after his father Joseph died. Then he began his ministry years. The lost years of Jesus were taken from Gnostic Scriptures, but are not within the bible. They are not truly legitimate authentic sources to go by. Even if many of the things that Siddhartha Guatama taught, Jesus taught on also, but in his own words.

There are No references of Jesus having traveled to India either within any of the Buddhist teachings, from those after Siddhartha Guatama {who became The Buddha). And there is no mention of Jesus by monks, who passed down Siddartha's teachings. And Siddhartha Guatama had never heard of the One God of the Desert, taught by Abraham and Moses, either.
And Jesus received his knowledge of the Tanak, the teachings of Abraham, Moses, and all the prophets from Judaism. Jesus was a Jew, who believed in and worshipped the One God of the Desert - the God of Abraham and Moses, whose name is
YHWH. Siddhartha Gautama lived approximately 580 yrs. before Jesus was born !

Excellent Question, though.

Have a great weekend.

Well, buddhists believe there are many buddhas. They do think Jesus was a Buddha. I'm not sure if there is any mention of him directly in anything though.

The only reference I can figure out is that the biography of Buddha was simiar to Jesus in terms of: Both of them left their Kingship
The difference: Buddha's kingdom was on earth and vanished already, while Jesus's Kingdom is Spiritual, everlasting one

It seems to me that Buddhist teachings came first, came before Jesus. Just as Zarathustra came before and his teachings were incorporated into Jesus' teachings. There are books on the topic. Check Amazon. I think that there are several books related to how the Bible was plagiarized from other religions.

I've heard that up until like..the age of 27 Jesus studied Buddhism..but, I don't believe it. What Jesus taught was -waayy- different than what Buddha taught.

No, not that I know of ......

Buddha did not provide any prophecy of his second coming ..... LOL ..... (pun intended) ..... the only prophecy he made that is widely accepted is, one day, buddhism will disappear from earth ...... a few billion years later another person will become a buddha.
