usually no unless the scratch shows a sign of infection or your running a fever ..the odds of the cat having rabies is low. If your conserned then see a doctor..only you can make that judgement call

Dab Betadine (at drugstore) on it, and put a band aid over it, until it starts to heal up. The Betadine will prevent infection. Then start dabbing Neosporin on it a few times a day. This will help heal the wound faster, without developing a nasty, crusty scar that takes longer to heal.

you may get cat scratch fever, but unless you are HIV positive, the symptoms will be very mild and transient: a slight temperature and maybe slightly swollen lymph glands. Lasts a couple of hours no more in healthy people.

Absolutely. You don't know where he's been, and being wild he's probably catching his own food thereby having his claws in raw met that can go rotten. Rather be safe than sorry on this one.

It's possible that you can get cat scratch disease (once called cat scratch fever). Check this out:

Spread the wound open and douse it with peroxcide/alcohol.
Slather it with Neosporin and you should be fine.
