Depends on what's wrong with it. If you're a merchant using credit cards at your place of business, you should be able to call the bank (or whoever set up your merchant account to process cards) and they'll send you a replacement or come fix it.

Check with the company you bought it from. The machine maybe under warranty and if you have a different company fix the machine it may affect the warranty, plus you'll have to pay to get it fixed.

Check the manual the came along with it if there is. If there is none or if it does not help, I suggest you call the company which supplied the machine.

check the warranty. if it is expired aske the company to give you a discount and ask for a written guarantee.
Get it in writing total cost.
Sometimes it is cheaper to get a new one than fix a older one!
