Do you rest you hand there, or rest your head on your hand there? Is it where the phone touches your face? Those things will definitely increase the chance of getting acne.
And to answer your question, no, it is NOT true. An intestinal problem is not going to cause increased acne around your chin/mouth.

No... There are theories about intestinal fungus overgrowth causing acne, but those theories are by crackpots. Acne around the chin/mouth is just caused by whatever normally causes acne. The chin is a very common area to get acne.

This where your skin is the most prone to break outs. My suggestion would be to to try the diet elimination technique. Acne is often caused by a food intolerance. Foods such as chocolate and cheese have been proved to be the most intolerant food for most youngsters. Try cutting these completly out of your diet for 3 weeks and you will notice the result.
