The point is to survive. A "goal" implies a set purpose, likely imposed by another being; that there is some purpose greater than the whole. Without religion, a "goal" becomes self-defined. We have no external arbiter.

The goal. To keep on reproducing so the species can survive. It's the same for every living organism on this planet(and probably the whole universe)

With religion, what is the goal of humanity as a whole? Serving god? Serving your particular god? Enforcing or spreading your religious beliefs?

I and many other atheists work to bring peace, protect the environment, promote justice, equality, conservation and racial/ethnic harmony. Do you?

without religion this world would be empty. and the world wouldnt have anything to learn anything about religion or spirituality. so i thank God for religion.
