Can you use an aircard to access internet while flying on an airplane?

No. You won't get a continuous signal if you could, and the RF (radio frequency) interference from the device CAN (but usually doesn't) interfere with some of the plane's instrumentation. According to a recent issue of the IEEE's (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) magazine, Spectrum, portable DVD players actually cause more RF interference than laptops and blackberries, because DVD's are not as well shielded because they are not DESIGNED as wireless devices, but they do generate interference.

Anyway, using an aircard is not advised for airplanes.

No. Anything that transmits a signal must be turned off in flight.
