You pay them, what else?

They may have told you that you were okay to make a purchase, but obviously there was another puchase made that they didn't have in their system yet. It's like writing a check and then spending the money, the bank doesn't know that you wrote the check, that's on you to keep track of.

Keep a better eye on what you spend.
