I would love to color my blonde hair with Henna and get a mild perm to enhance some dimension.

For some people henna relaxes curls and waves in their hair. I can't vouch for this myself, even tho I've been hennaing for a year now. It does minimally thicken the hair shaft, so the character of your hair will change.
Before you henna, you should take some old hair from your hair brush and test it. If the color is too bright, wait a few days and see if the oxidized version is better. On blondes, the first henna can be very bright orange, so just be aware of that possiblity.
I'm not sure about perming over henna, but you can check the website I've listed below. It has the most comprehensive and scientific data I've seen on henna in hair. I use the henna from this website, after trying a few other brands, it's the most consistent in quality.

No. Perms change the chemical makeup of the hair shaft, which means they all contain chemicals. I used to use henna. It's extremely messy and it doensn't last long. Try John Frieda gloss for blondes or redheads and velcro rollers instead.

Hey there ;) I completely agree, i hate a lot of these over produced hairstyles plus make up and so forth... Go usual! Even if it takes a whilst to develop out, simply opt for it. In the beyond, i've dyed my hair each color i might feel of, had a mohawk one min then grew it right down to my *** then repeat a couple of occasions :s loopy! Every time i've regretted going for an unnatural appear. So I have considering the fact that grew out the entire color and simply preserve it trimmed shoulder period, exceptional and convenient. I did not love it such a lot whilst it was once developing out nevertheless it was once def valued at it, its my favorite appear up to now.... well success!
