Can I audio stream with the speakers from my laptop?

Is there a way to stream audio from a cd for example when I play it from My laptop for recording purposes or playing something in a chat room online? And if so how?

Yes. If you choose WAV as your recording source in Volume Control, then any application that is expecting a input feed, it will record it.

In Volume Control, go to options > properties. Select Recording. Then any device you select will assign it as a recording source.

You can experiment with an audio editing program. It's like using a microphone, instead you are using your playback as the source.
