angiosperm refers to flowering plants in which seeds are enclosed inside fruits.angiosperm is made of 2 greek words .
'angio' means covered .
'sperma' means seed.
so, angiosperm refers to plants with closed seeds[inside fruits] unlike pine.
ex: paphiopedilum , ipomoea , mango
they are further classified based on the no. of cotyledons [seed leaves].
