I am so sorry that you have been called names but maybe you don't understand that most pet lovers, including people who sell them may not think your choice of selling the puppies to a pet shop was in their best interest. If your dog is not neutered please contact your local animal shelter for some help.
If you truly want to work at a pet store, please take some time to learn about this field and all that it entails. Then you can make a decision about whether or not you even want want to sell animals in this manner.
It seems to me that you have a loving heart... please do some fact finding first. Most sincerley, L

You would be better off working in a shelter. Petshops selling live animals live off puppy farms and kitten mills and they are kept in appalling conditions with barely enough food to feed the parent, let alone nurse a baby, they are kept in tiny dirty cages in their own excrement and never see a vet or the light of day or a patch of grass. They are bred and bred until they die or can't breed anymore and then they're dumped. One should not support that. Puppy mills get their breeders from petshops or free to good home ads.

The puppies there are bought on impulse and inevitably end up in the shelter. Someone walking past, sees a cute puppy and gets one, having given it no thought whatsoever, they don't know about training them or caring for the. They get it home and in a few months time, they're not cute puppies anymore, they're peeing and pooping everwhere, they bark all the time, they're ripping the washing off the line and digging in the garden, so what happens to them? The people take it and dump it at the shelter, it's a stupid dog anyway. A few months later, they're walking past the petshop, they see another cute puppy and decide to get it, they won't have problems this time, the last dog was just a stupid mutt, this one will be ok. A few months later, the same thing happens. This one chews the furniture, rips the washing off the clothelines and bites their heels. and that one ends up in the shelter and so it continues. Those people are shamelessly making money of puppies while shelters are left to pick up the pieces. The puppies are euthanased because they aren't wanted, thrown away like a peace of trash. Every purchase takes a home that a puppy in a shelter could have had.

I wouldn't want to work there! But i'm sure they will give you the job!

Just go and ask the store owner if you can have a job..But you cannot be playing with your puppies or animal, remember it is a job and you will need to work. It is sad when you have to sell your animals but do not breed your dog again if you are too sad when you sell the puppies.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell your puppies but everybody does sell their puppies they don't keep them. Why don't you ask the owner of the pet shop to give you some work in his shop? You will never know if you don't ask the owner - so go ahead and ask him maybe their is an opening for you. Best of luck for you. If you don't get the job their maybe try another pet shop.

First of all, you should never ever sell your puppies to a pet store! Pet stores support puppy mills. If you don't know what a puppy mill is you should look into it but they are horrible. I'm sure it was a mistake selling them to a pet store anyways. if you truley love animals they will give you a job.

Shame on all you people who were so nasty about the person who wrote this question, I thought we were here to help not criticize. We do not know the circumstances or anything about this person so I don't think any of you should judge their behavior or writing skills..
I hope you get the job.

your description is a bit confusing....but i think you could get the job. and even more, i think you should spay and neuter your dogs if you love them. spaying and neutering prevents cancer and the dogs will live longer, healthier lives. and plus, there are sooo many homeless dogs. but thats if you really mean you love your dogs when you say it....

i do hope you wont have to write anything because your spelling is equal to an eight year old or younger, and if your that young they would expect you to cry. If your a teenager, your spelling makes me cry.. I'd think if you didnt try any harder than that in school, you wont do good at working either.Yep, thats what I would think.
