i have a neon set i bought a while back for $100. i have never installed it yet and was wondering if i should try to install it or sell it. i am just worried about having a rock or something break them. how strong are they when it comes to that stuff? i have OPTX NEON UNDERCAR KIT. thx!

there is a tube covering the neon inside a small rock or the elements under the car is not going to brake it

when you put a jack or going over side walks and stuf like that is what is going to damage the neon lights
you just have to be carefull

Sell it and get an LED lighting kit. The bulbs never burn out, consume far less power and won't break. You can get any color you want even color changing if you want.


I just put 8 super bright LEDs in my sub enclosure (I have clear blue see through subs) and the LEDs only draw 40mA total. It looks like an F-15 at full throttle.

optix is made by streetglow which is the best brand out there its their lower line.they will hold up unless you bottom out your car or a shop puts the lift right on them.
