PLEASE HELP!! This stupid program is installing itself over and over again!!?

I downloaded walmart's music downloads store last week. All the sudden it's trying to install itself over and over again! I dont see it anywhere in msconfig

I think the old addage is "friends don't let friends buy music at Wal-mart."

control panel-add/remove programs-remove the program-try install again.

same problem again, uninstall, keep uninstalled.

Have you emptied out your temporary internet files? If you delete the install file, that should stop it. And if that doesn't work I would go back to the site, go as far as going to install it again, but only go as far as seeing the EXACT name of the file, then search for it. It likely is in the temp folder, but sometimes it downloads elsewhere. You need to find that file and remove it. Sounds like something is triggering it, but it will be easier and more productive to just stop it than figure out why IMHO.

If that doesn't work I'd try uninstalling the program, but if that doesn't remove the install file you'll still have the same problem even if it's gone.
