Yes it does. So the so called christians promote hate. Who created gays. Not man. So they hate one of Gods creations. So are they Christians or hypocrits. And will God judge them on it. Remember he that protests the most has something to hide.

Violence occurs in many forms.
The current movement against homosexuality in this country encourages intolerance to homosexual behavior and lifestyles. Like racism today, this bigotry is subtle and insidious, and violence is rarely obvious.
The influence is more apparent in government, where conservatives vouch for laws banning recognition of gay unions/marriage, spousal support, and from adopting kids. And some reject the Supreme court ruling that banned state imprisonment for homosexual unions on the basis of states' rights. I say, "yeah right!" This is as baloney as the argument that banning gay marriage protects the "sanctity" of private heterosexual families.
Fundamentalist agendas are often evil.

Thats a shame
While I do think the anti-gay crusade as you call it leads to violence against homosexuals I hope that is not their agenda.

That was a terrible crime against an innocent person and it is not allowed by the law. However, it did not say that it was a Christian who hit this man. So, you really can't blame Christians for this horrific act of violence. I have gone to many Churches for years and I have never heard of any anti-gay messages being preached. Christ was not against people and neither are His followers. We do not believe that this lifestyle is as God intended, however, to cause harm or death to an individual goes against all that Christ stands for.

individually, i'm a huge fan of Thessalonians 2, verse 12 -- that is not anti-gay or something like that, yet talks approximately condemning human beings, so that is cool. This states that people who have faith lies are going to Hell. So... the record of those going to Hell occurs to incorporate the those that instructed me to envision the Bible interior the 1st place. candy, candy irony...

This is simply heartbreaking. Anti-gay sentiment among Christians does lead to violence and emotional abuse within families. It wouldn’t surprise me if the constant drumbeat of "gays as degenerates" is leading to increased violence.
This simply has to stop, folks.

True Christians do NOT promote violence against homosexuals. All we want to do is encourage them to accept Christ as their Saviour, and He will do His clean-up job in their lives. Our battle is spiritual, not physical.
BTW I think Fred Phelps is a nut.

of course, if you remember history, the last catholic crusade in the medieval ages against the muslims slaughtered 100000s of muslims in the name og God, and the catholic church will now wage one against the unholy blaspeming homosexuals in order to exterminate the priblem..

It shouldn't be, but it may be. Jesus said "let those without sin cast the first stone."
