It's called a secured credit card. Check with whatever company apeals to you and let them know that you would like to apply for a secured card. There are some credit card companies that specialize in cards for people with poor credit. If your credit is very bad, you can try one of those.

"If you are not in position to get a credit card due to bad credit, then you can opt for a prepaid credit card.

Prepaid credit cards offer many benefits like:

Interest-Free purchasing

Even people with a bad credit history can get prepaid credit card.

The credit limit varies according to the balance on the card.

Most of the retailers accept prepaid credit card, and it can be used just like a credit card or a debit card. When you use prepaid credit cards for any purchase, your money spent would be automatically debited from your balance present on the card."

Even if you have bad credit history getting a prepaid credit card will not be a problem. Prepaid cards or secured cards are credit cards linked to savings accounts. That means that if you wish to apply for a secured credit card you need to open a savings account.T he funds contained in the account may be claimed by the company issuing the card in the event that the holder fails to make the necessary payments. This arrangement allows the issuer to take on riskier credit card applicants.

Shop around for those credit cards, find the best deal.http://www.credit-card-authority.com/Secured-Credit-Cards-814058-page.php Most likely you will be approved.

I have placed this in the source box. There is a wealth of information there and a great free debt management software program. I bookmarked the site as I return to it often for the advice it offers. I hope this helps you.
