I have a shih tzu and I use on her an oatmeal based shampoo. Not only is it good for her skin but it leaves her fur soft and silky. I bet it would work great for your dog too. I don't have a particular brand I recommend- Just make sure it's for thick coats.

Most pet stores have these shampoos. A vet can help you pick a specific brand for your dog.

I would use anything for sensitive skin. A lot of smaller dogs (like my shih tzus) have sensitive skin that is prone to drying out. We use an oatmeal shampoo that we bought from the veterinarian.

An oatmeal shampoo is good and you could use a conditioner, doggie or human to help with shine.

I use one for sensitive skin with ph balancing. When I got my silky it looked like she had dandruff. This fixed the problem
