We worship God more due to our greed then anything else. Since fear we dont know untill we face it in found of us. Our greed for better life, wealth , health, satisfaction of the inner wants ie. ego, pride, vanity usually rules. We alway want to better ourselves then the other person. That drives us to want more and more. Have we ever prayed if we knew we couldnt get anything from GOD. We wouldnt have time to waste. It would have become a useless acitvity. When do we pray the most usually when we are in trouble (there are certain exceptional cases).

He created us all. We would not be here on this earth if not for Him. He sent His son to die on a cross for our sins, that is a good enough reason for me!
There is no greed involved, Heaven is not about materialistic things. There is no fear, our God is a loving God. We are His children.

I think u r question implies some thing that worship is only for our selfishness. But as per Spiritual Vedas and Upanishads and Bible and Kuran....Worshiping GOD to find ourselves. To find our Deep sole and to realise the power of deep soul , we need to pray to GOD. God is not a boon maker or boon giver. He is the supreme commander for all. We assume that GOD is giving all. But probably this is not the fact. In Bagawath Geeta Lord Krishna says " Only the person who is doing is duty atmost sincerely and who goes in the path of Dharma are my real devotee instead who pray me regularly without promptness at their work is not my real devotee". So we pray to GOD to know ourselves but not for any obligation of fear factor ar for any cause.

we worship god for hope, hope that there is someone out there that we can know has a plan and know that has everything under control. We worship god because we know that there has to be something out there that has control and god is the best explanation that we have right now

All of the above, but the main reason is because there is instilled by the creator a need in every one of us to love, adore and worship the one who created us.

Well, I worship God for personal reasons. Religion, for me, is highly personal. I can answer D though because many people worship, or should I say supposedly worship, only to make themselves look good.

D) Love. Imagine your on trial and the judge announced "YOU ARE GUILTY AND SENTENCED TO DEATH BY THE GAS CHAMBER". Then a man youve never seen or heard about comes to your defense and takes the fall for your wrongdoing. That's what God did for us. He sent his son to pay for the price of our souls out of love. So whenever I think about what He has suffered for me, I begin to worship God to show that I love and honor Him.

the thing is we worship God if we believe in him, and that is one of the reason we worship God (coz we believe in Him)
we believe that he can make us happy, satisfied at the heart and what I worship God for is to give me the strength to love those who love me and love me not, and give them more than they expect from me....
Coz I believe Love is what makes God so great, he loves each and every one of us despite of all the flaws we have, he is the true father
