I have also read articles about other insects which attack coconut palms in Belize, middle America.
I guess it depends on the geographical location of the plant which kinds of insects represent the greatest pest.

This website says that the rhinoceros beetle damages coconut.

yellow and transparent scorpions
they are always around coconuts when they are on the trees
and when they are cut and open its midgies ,these tiny flies that bite big.
