when i get on the internet how can i get better pictures and better color. its a windows 98 and i like to get on myspace but i cannot really see the picture becase of the computer color its all blurey

you should change the color resoluton of your display..
right click on desktop, click properties, settings & adjust the display colors...

You would have to change the resolution and color depth to better settings. Although since you are on 98 I don't know whether your hardware will support it.
Right click on the desktop and go to properties.
Click the settings tab.
Change resolution to something 800x600 or better.
Change color depth to 32 Bit.
Click OK.
That should do it if your computer and monitor can handle it. If not, I know where you can find a new computer relatively cheap.

It sounds like the video drivers are not loaded into your system.
Right click the desktop and go down to properties. In the settings tab see if there is more than one setting for Screen Resolution, and Color Control. If there is not, go down to advanced, and then to the adapter tab. Near the top if it doesn't say the name of a display type you are going to have to give us the model and make of your computer to get the drivers.

could be a bad monitor, or video card in the computer. if you are thinking of getting a new computer, try getting rid of windows 98 and install Ubuntu linux. its better than windows and its free. keep that classic pc runnin

right-click on the desktop
click Settings
on the left, carefully move the slider to the left until resolution is 1024 x 768

i recommend to get a newer version. I have the windows 2000 and that counts as quite old

i have a 98. it's slow, has bad graphics, and slow... did i mention slow? lol
