I'm not talking about purposely lying to someone by telling them you love them when you know you're not. I'm talking about whether you have told someone you love them and thought that u mean it only to find out later u really don't know what it meant? Or do you always know what it meant all along and the only reason you said it is because you know you're lying? Just curious, please share...

Many people use the word love without knowing what it means. It's very hard to tell unless true love smacks you right between the eyes. You will know that feeling if it ever happens. Everything that you grow up thinking is important - looks, money, fancy cars, fancy homes, or even another persons health - will not matter. That is love. There will be no arguments just slight disagreements, absolute trust, compassion, lifetime commitment, and having someone to depend on. It's a feeling of one heart knowing another.

I've thought that I loved a couple guys that I didn't love at all. When I was in high school, which is why I always tell people on here to not throw the word love around... I never said it after the first couple of days of knowing someone, but I've said it and thought it was love, when it was really just infatuation with a person - after I was with them for a while, I realized that I didn't love them.
