Lately, I'll be walking or just standing somewhere, thinking about something, then its like my mind goes blank. I lose focus and I get really dizzy, sort of like I'm about to pass out. It's really scary. What could it be

#1 You're human.
#2 What's your diet like? Have you talked to your Dr. about this? You could be hypoglycemic or something and may need an insulin boost or sugar boost or something like that.
Definitely see your Dr. He may be able to diagnose it and it could be serious or it could be nothing more than ADD.

My mind does that to me all the time. Part of it is stress and the rest of it is anxiety. I suffer from pretty bad anxiety issues sometimes and I am on meds for it which also adds to the blanks and dizziness at times. It is always better when I get plenty of sleep, eat right, and try to relax though. You might want to try that.
HOWEVER, I am not a doctor, I don't even play one on TV!!! so you might want to check with your family doctor to see what it could be. Aything that makes you dizzy and puts you on the verge of passing out could be really serious. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

You should probably see a doctor promptly. If your on benodiazepens (especialy abusing them) like xanax vallium. These could be witdrawl symptoms. So see a doctor.
