This girl I am dating keeps telling me to come see her at her place of work, which is a restaurant. She's a waitress.
Is she trying to get approval from her friends that she works with? Whats her motive?
Any thoughts?

Maybe she wants approval from friends, maybe she wants to show you off to them, and maybe she just wants to share that part of her life with you. I like guys I am hanging out with/dating to see where I work - since that's where I spend the most time. You can learn a lot about someone by seeing how they are at work. If you go see her once and don't like how you feel there, maybe she isn't the girl for you.

Maby she wants some of her coworkers (who are firends) to check you out. She may have told them she's daging someone and now they can see the person she's been taking about . Or she could just just like you a lot and she knows that there's a chance she could take her break while you are there and she could have more 'face' time with you for about 15 minutes during her shift. It's not unusual for a waitress to say that to someone she's dating. It's a very public job. She's thinking you would brighten up her day!

Yes why would she want to you to stop by. Its probably to show others at work that she is seeing someone, you. And I am sure she has spoke of you to them. They just need proof maybe. With her being a waitress, when would she have the time to spend with you. It may not be a good idea for you to go and see her work, but then again you could see how she is with others. It also could be a bit of game playing also.

i'm sure there's a few reasons..
1) she wants to spend more time with you.. especially if she doesn't really like her job, being able to share some moments with you may make it seem to go faster...
2)her co-workers are part of her life and to her, she may be trying to share it with you. life is easier as a couple if you have mutual friends
3) if she's like most girls she probably talks about you all the time, your important to her so she shares it with her friends, and so she now wants to kinda let her co-works know you too..
4) an lastly, i'm sure the smallest bit of her wants some validation from her co-workers..... just a guess on this one..

Oh! No she doesn't want their approval. She wants to show you off.
Every time I have ever had a really hot boyfriend, I would ask him to drop by my work. I just wanted to let the other girls see who I got for a boyfriend.
Since my work buddies weren't my friends, it was the only way to show them off.
If I had wanted approval, I would have asked my friends, who knew him better. Friends see the guy all the time. That's who a girl would ask.
Her work buddies can't make a judgement by just seeing you.
Your girlfriend thinks you're hot and just wants to show you ble to brag a little inside.

She wants to show you off.. For some reason approval from all her co workers will make her happy. Not to mention the fact that you made it to here Job to say hi.. It will make her feel special.

When I'm dating a guy, I love when he comes to visit me at work. It's part because I want to show him off, but mostly its just a nice idea. You know, you're working hard, bored, whatever, then he walks in and cheers you up. It reminds you that he cares about you. It's simple, really, don't overthink it. We girls like attention, and to know that our guys are thinking about us.

Well, she might be wanting to show you off. Or she might be proud of where she works. I work as a line cook, and I want my friends/partners/family to come in so I can show off where I work, so I can show them off, and so I can cook for them. Either she's proud of you or cares about her job or both. Both of those are good things, so you should visit her work.

Does she like you? She may just want to spend time with you, or she could be keeping you under her thumb and out of trouble. She may be embarassed about where she lives. Her room mate may be a supermodel or a male pornstar. Not enough info.
