I live in the Southeast USA and I am finding that almost every other woman between the age of 18-23 seems to have a boyfriend and in many cases I see the guy and think "what a dummy, she could have an intelligent person like me". I don't know if this is a southern thing because this seems very prevalent in the south. What is your perspective(by the way, I have never let it be known in person that I thought that way about the guy that they date unless they have broken up with him.)?

Dude, I live up north in Massachusetts, America's Tax basket and I completely share the same pain you are. I see it everywhere......Couples and women with either jerks or just random guys when I know I have lots to offer but just end up being the friend or shoulder to cry on. And I'm 26....What's good is through my dating, im broadening my horizons and trying dating sites. They made me leary because of the concept, but they're really not that bad.

It'll fall into place...Hopefully. Don't get discouraged because I feel that way all the time.

Just focus on the other positives in your life and let that fall into place. That's why I try to do.
