Some examples of carbohydrates are the following: pasta, noodles, bread, potatoes, fruit, cakes, cereals, rice and the list goes on and on.
Basically there are two types of carbs- complex and simple carbohydrates. Complex are the ones that fall into the categories of whole wheats and complex grains such as rice, wheat, cereals, potatoes, yams, etc. Simple carbohydrates are sugars found in fruits, milk, and vegetables. Some other examples of simple sugars are cakes, candy, syrup, etc.

bread and pastas....just about anything in the grains food group. but just about everything has carbs...i also believe glucose is a form of carbohydrate...and i would tell you cellulose is the most common (found in plant leaves)...but i couldnt promise you that one...i think chiton(used to make dissolveable stitches made from the shell of crabs) is the second most common...but like i said im not positive.

The white stuff: Bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, sugar. Anything containing sugar....soft drinks, ice cream, candy. Also, beans and fruit (although these are the best carbs to eat)..........and beer.

High carb foods are foods that contain flour of any kind. Some flours are better for you but still are high in carbs. White rice is a high carb food as well.
