I do believe that most, if not ALL states pay require that goverment employees are paid their regular salery by their employer while on jury duty.

Everybody gets paid for jury duty.

Whether or not you get to keep it is up to your employer.

Some employers will pay you your regular salary if you surrender the jury duty pay to them. If you wish to keep it, you'd need to either take vacation time or an unpaid leave of absense.

Other employers simply require you to take vacation time or unpaid leave. In must jurisdictions, employers are NOT required to pay you while you're on jury duty. They are only required to hold your job for you.

Yes, everyone gets paid a very small amount.
