you will get used to it after time, although most of us do have a optimum time of the day for maximum intensity. sometimes it's hard to actually exercise at that period of the day . the best thing to do is to try to time the meals so that you are going to hit the gym about 1.5 hours after eating this way the majority of the stomach contents have migrated further down the GIT. it's always easier (mentally) to exercise when the body has sufficient energy levels

Perhaps you drink too much coffee or tea towards the end of the day. Drinking them after 3pm may cause you to stay awake in the night.

Another possible reason is you are sleepy when you feel hot. Try to work in air con rooms without sunlight coming through windows.

Are you skipping breakfast? reason why you have energy at night could be that your first meal is lunch. Maybe you are not eating enough? How about exercise? it creates energy.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, remember?
