When I changed to my new imported car, she followed to purchase one but is a local car. Now it's approaching 3 years but she had never drove it by herself to work. She also copied my clothing until to the stuff like undergarment. This really a bit disturbing and I have also moved to my new place to get a peace of mind. Nevertheless, when sometimes I went to my in law's place with office wear, the next day she will go and buy the same blouse without asking me where to get it. As from the past 3 years when I was staying with my in law, she had memorized the brands and boutiques that I used to buy/go. Apart from that, she is also jealous with my career and likes to talk to another sister in law pretending to ignore my presence when I attended the family dinner on every Sunday. Hence, can't really figure out why people choose to behave in this manner?

My god!! beginning of ur Question i jst thought that she doing this to be close to u and needs ur attention... She wants to be someone trendy and fashionalbe like u... But later part in ur Question i think she has a seroius problem and not closeness she needs from u.. Simple .. u can't change this kind of insane germs... Jst stay away..
Wen u see her on Sun.. jst a hi and do ur own work.. Mingle around with others... Be least bothered of wat she's doing amd be free... She a bit crake up a head so it no point talking to this such of ppl... If u do talk abt this prob to her.. she might change the whole story and jst give u a blurnt answer..

Because she has very poor self-esteem and wants to have what you have. Emotionally she sounds like a child. The important thing to consider is does her opinion really matter to you? And if so why?
Yes, she is your partner's sister but is she someone you respect or admire? If she isn't then don't give her any power over you but letting her make you feel bad. Obviously, you have better taste and a better job than her! Start ignoring her and realize copying you is a form of flattery even though she is a petty person to not own those feelings for herself.
Love yourself and your partner and be polite to the in-laws and keep your sanity. Good luck!

Your sister is giving you the greatest admiration by praising your taste in life and she may be reaching her hand out to you. She is trying to get your attention, and why not because she sees you as a real up-lifting person. So much that she's willing to embarrass herself and copy your sty. The only reason why she ignore you in family gathering is because it is hard for her to face you, and knowing the family is aware of her admiration of you.
Now, express to her how much you really do love her. Give her call and invite to dinner at the local mall. Plan to do so shopping afterward and then invite her to spend the night with you. This would give her time to really open up her feeling and bridge the relationship closer. Once your sister gains your trust, she'll become your most best friend and it would really assures her that you are a special person in her life. Always keep your family in your prayers.

She may be jealous of you, especially if you and your husband have a great relationship. Try talking with your husband and tell him that you don't like the way his sister behaves, and you might include suggesting that you two move out of that town. She could stir up some real trouble. I also suggest not confronting your sis-in-law with the issue. It may not do anything but get her really angry at you.

just remember where you bought your things from. anyone can buy them, but shes delibertly trying to be like you..i know you think it sucks, but i take it as a complimant..its sad that she doesnt have the confidence to be her own person. she is a person who has low self esteem...hopefully she will grow out of it or she will find someone else to be like when the season changes.
