not A. Birds fly varies speeds in crazy directions. no way to setup an experiment.

not C. to complicated of an answer. involves air movement, temperature variations, moisture variations. ie weather. not predictible.

Not D. how do you measure that? and how long do you have to wait for an experiment?

B sounds pretty straight forward.

make several samples of water + salt of various concentrations.

measure freezing point.

plot freezing point on y axis and salt concentration on x

totally predictible, easy to do....

None are very good for investigation since the answer varies for all 4. But I would have to say B since it can actually be tested and the same results repeated over and over again (though it depends on the concentration / type of salt).

D. allows for a good investigation with a control setup and experimental setup.
