go to the directory and depending on what it is you have different folders theres aircraft, scenery, and add on scenery. if its aircraft its easy you just drag and drop it in there but if its scenery after you put it in you have to go to options and add it in there

if you follow these steps correctly you should be able to get an addon to work in FS2004

1, assuming you have already downloaded the addon, "unzip" it by using WInZip or Windows XP's built in "unzipper" program,

2. move all folders that are related with the aircraft (such as a folder with the aircraft name), into your .../FS9/Aircraft folder

3, if you have any folders that say "effects" or "guages" put them in your ...FS9/Effects or ...FS9/Guages folders. do not put them with your aircraft or you will not see those guages or effects.

4, if you have done the above 3 steps correctly, boot up FS and happy flying with your new aircraft.

5. if you have an auto-installer aircraft, run the installer, find your FS2004 folder and hit install, it will put everything in the right places for you

NOTE: the addon that you are trying to put into FS2004 must be compatible with FS2004 or it will either not work properly, or will not show up in your aircraft list within Flight Simulator

Make a new folder in FS aircraft folder, extract the files to that folder. place "guages" files into gauges folder in the main menu. name your new folder to match exactly the add-on plane name. it should work!

Your question about your COMPUTER GAME does not belong in the section devoted to questions about REAL AIRCRAFT.

People who play the COMPUTER GAME "Train Simulator" don't post questions in the "Rail" section.
