If I'm remembering correctly from school - objects absorb all colors except for the one that you see, that's the color that it reflects. For example, an apple absorbs all colosr except for red - so it looks red to us.

I finally figured out what "c color" means.
Colour is a direct result of the wavelength of the light that leaves the object - red has a longer wavelength, blue is shorter. Never mind the details, that's high school stuff.
So when light from some object with colour enters your eye, there are little sensors at the back of the eye (called rods and cones) that know how to interpret the light's wavelenghts that they receive and send the information to your brain and it knows how to "interpret" the wavelength into a colour.

ok so note this : every object can absorv color
and every object reflects light (at least some of the light )
and the white sun light can be diveded into seven colors

so when light falls on any object it absorvs somecolorand the the rest of the color is reflected to our eyes and what color is reflected in our eyes we see the object in that color

your eyes have an optical nerve that has small structures on it called rods and cones. the rods see black and white & the cones see color.
