my boyfriend and I are 22 and 21.

We live one hour and 1/2 away...We try to see each other every weekend

Do you consider this a long distance relationship? We have been together for over a year.

An hour and a half is actually pretty close.

Think about all the military families whose spouse has to go halfway across the world for months or years. Now that's long distance! And while some military marriages/relationships don't work, many of them do. It takes a lot of hardwork, dedication, and patience... but to me, it's more than worth it :)

Congrats to you for making it to the 1 yr mark... if you really want this relationship to continue, then you will definitely be able to find ways to make it work! Consider your b/f your "weekend stress relief" LOL ^.~; *wink*

The only time I'm against it is when it's 2 teenagers that live way too far apart and have no means of seeing each other or have never met in person.Other than that,if the 2 of you are mature enough to handle it,I say go for it.I've seen it work.Though not much.Anyways, you 2 don't live too far away from each other.

That is not what I would consider a long distance relationship. This could certainly work out very nicely..

to me, why not? someone you love lives far away won't make a difference...as long as we kept eachother updated and love eachother!
