I live in Illinois and there are two photographers that I am trying to decide upon. I am either going to go with Edward Fox or Studio One, does anyone have any comments about them, either good or bad, I would appreciate any feedback, thanks.... I am also looking for videography, and studio one has that too. so I am not sure..

I just took a look at both websites. Being a Bridal Consultant in Peoria, IL They both look like they know what they are doing. I noticed that Edward Fox Photography has been around for 100 yrs+. This might mean that they might be a little more set in their ways and have a very specific style. What you want to look for is the type of photos in their portfolio. Are they more posed or are they very candid.
A really good photographer can take a completely candid photo that looks posed. Are they just the regular everyday photos or are they getting what is going on in the background when the bride and groom think nobody is looking. Those are sometimes the most special moments and the best pictures.
So you are really going to have to go by how you feel about their portfolios.

Have you met with both studios/photographers?
I think that meeting the actual person who will do the wedding will give you a much better idea of who you're working with. You should feel comfortable with them and free to talk and express what you want.
They should offer free consultations. So I suggest setting up a meeting and then figure out who you like best.
And of course, if you do get first hand references of past customers, thats always good... so goodluck!!!

I am from Chicago. My wife and I used Edward Fox as our wedding photographer. I cannot say enough good things about the pictures and the photo album. Be warned, they are not cheap.

Not from IL so never heard of either, but take the stress off and kill 2 birds w/ one stone and hire Studio One. Besides you can prob get a package deal for hiring both video and photo.

pick a hand left or right.............
if you chose left then Edward Fox
if you chose right then Studio one
If you dont like the choice then you know you want the other one :)

look at their work, porfolio, and decide on price.
