Im Asian (Cambodian, Vietnamese, & a lil' bit of French) and Im dating this Hispanic guy (Mexican, & a lil' bit of German). We're 8th graders, and about to finish our last year in our middle school. I been dating him for atleast 2 years now -we meet in 6th grade. So in our last year in middle school, we have to show the 6th grader around, and while doing that, some ignorant about-to-be 6th grader go up and asked us "Your Chinese, why your dating a Mexican guy?". I told her am NOT Chinese, but she still ask me that question, because she never seen an Asian dating a Mexican guy (Me & him are the only Asian/Hispanic couple in the school). So the question is, why arent there any Asian/Hispanic couple? Any celeb who is half Mexican half Asian?

You're right, it's not common to see an asian with hispanic, this is especially looked down for Chinese, Korean and Japanese family, because the parents likes to keep " their face", my parents always told us not to "shame" our family because they need to keep their faces and a good name in the asian community. Dating blacks or hispanics in among northern asians is very frowned upon. My sister dated a hispanic, my parents thrown her out of the house for awhile until she broke up with him.
It intalled alot of fear in me, for my own race, it make me think about they're judging me all the time~ the asian parents in my community not only know who we date, they all know about our grades too, pretty scary huh?

There are Asian/Hispanic couples, but just not as much as you would see Asian/White or Asian/Asian couples. Asian/Black couples are even more rare. Anyway, where I live, interracial couples are pretty common around here, mainly because the city is diverse with all kinds of people. Ive seen some Asian/Hispanic couples. In fact, im asian and currently in a realtionship with a hispanic dude. I knew another hispanic guy who was interested in Asian girls and he was planning to ask me out, but he didnt. My friend told me he liked me though. I also like hispanic guys too, there are lots of cute hispanics. Not many people are used to seeing interracial couples, especially if you live in place where a majority is a group of a certain race. Ive been in a school where 95% of the school was all asians. And it was kind of rare to see interracial couples there. But, in general its true that there arent many Asian/Hispanic couples because maybe the cultures arent compatible with each other. And sometimes Hispanics arent interested in dating Asians, or vice versa.
I think Enrique Iglesias is a celeb who is mixed with asian and hispanic.

Asian/Hispanic couples are very rare in today's society. The reason why these couples are so rare is because asians and hispanics have lifestyles that are so different that they are almost incompatible with one another. This depends on the individual of course but for the most part different lifestyles and beliefs play a major role in relationships.

Some people dont like dating outside their race. i dont have a problem with it, i have actually dated more guys outside my race than in it. My last boyfriend was mexican and he loved dating asians, at first i was suprised he even liked me because im white hah. I havent ever seen a half mexican/half asian celeb though..

Where I live its not uncommon at all to see a Mexican and Asian. I myself love latino guys they are pretty hot. The couples dont usually last long because of how asian parents can be.
