At what age should a rooster start crowing and growing spurs?

Depends on how many roosters you have generally you will see spur dots around 12 weeks but takes about a year to develop an actual spur also the breed type has influence on spur growth.As to crowing some will try it at as young as 6 weeks but most will begin around 12 to 24 weeks.
