I was never afraid to admit that I liked a guy... to my girlfriends. But to actually go up to that guy and talk to him, tell him I liked him- NO WAY IN HECK!!! That just took more courage than I had.

Well, i think its the thing about secrets. most girls love secrets. having a secret crush etc means that she will be talked about and asked about more. If every1 knows she likes a guy then people already read her like a book and nobody talks about her or asks her.
