Confusion reposted, more answers please?
Confused again?
I like Matt and asked him to prom, however I'm starting to like one of my other friends a lil bit more that matt, his name's ryan. Matt never answered the question except for a "I can't say yes to that just yet" and Ryan said that he would go with me if Matt said no... but he doesn't dance, so what's the point?
Do I tell Matt to forget I asked him and go with Ryan or wait a lil bit longer?

Ryan and I said as friends though since he just got out of a relationship with his ex... but he tells me everything and I'm the only girl he really opens too apparently.

But Matt and I are oooold friends, 9 years, and I really care about him and idk what to do

They both make me happy when they're around, and I cant stop smiling

Ask Ryan and you and your friends give him some dancing lessons before prom. He doesn't dance because he thinks he can't. Invite him over and don't tell him it will include dancing lessons. But don't make it about lessons the whole time, let him relax and have fun. No matter how badly he dances to begin with just encourage him and tell him not bad. He'll catch on well enough before prom with several lessons. Matt, on the other hand, wants you for a back up date. Personally, that would go against the grain with me. I'd rather take a frog. I bet you have a great time with Ryan in your beautiful prom dress and hair do.

i'm sorry hun but matt doesn't seem to want to go with u. i would just tell him to not worry about it and go with ryan. who the hell cares if he doesn't dance! teach him! u will both have a good time and u will probably get a good laugh out of it! stay friends with both. i don't think u should worry about having to choose. matt isn't interested or else it wouldn't take him this long to decide whether he wants to go with u or not. i seriously doubt it would hurt his feelings if u took someone else. i'm sorry if it sounds harsh but its true. go have a good time w/ ryan and maintain a good relationship with him and maybe it will turn into something more. good luck and have fun on whatever u decide!

Take Ryan and teach him how to dance.

If they both make you happy why should you have to choose between them?

It's not like you are getting married yet.

Do things with both of them, If one isn't available or does not want to do anything you have the other one to fall back on!

You are in a win win situation.

There is no reason to be confused.

This is a wonderful time in your life and are lucky to have 2 guys that you like interested in you.

If other guys that you like become interested in you as well, then you should not count them out either.

Take advantage of the situation and play the field so to speak. Go out with as many guys as you want to.

Allow yourself to experience a variety of people and when the time does come to settle down and possibly have a family, you will then have a better idea of what you want in a man.

Also you will have more options in life.

Good Luck and Have Fun.

Go with Ryan and let him follow your lead on the dance floor.
