In the morning.. I eat a bowl of All Bran - then I go work out... after the gym try and eat a small snack - on my bad days I have an espresso with cream and splenda .. Then I wait until around 5 pm to have a sensible dinner - I try and have a salad nearly every night with my dinner. I've been drinking tons of water and for a sweet drink, instead of a Diet soda I drink Fresca - its great and calorie free. I've lost 25 pounds since Mid Jan.. I have 5 more pounds to go and I'll have reached my goal.
I must say that this is the only time ever in my life (Im 22) that I have lost weight the HEALTHY way .. without pills or starving myself. I never believed that I could loose weight the healthy way but I have. If you would like any more advice I would be happy to help - just message me. :) take care

There is no such thing as a diet....Your body will attain a certain weight depending on what you eat and how much exercise you get. Its simple, you consume 2,0000 calories and expend 2,000 calories a day, you stay the same weight. If you want to lose, consume fewer calories or expend more exercising. consuming 750 calories more than you expend and you gain 1 pound. Of course for health requirements you should eat the right kinds of foods. That you can find on most USDA website...Nuf Said...

I eat 6 small balanced meals every day. They provide high fiber sources of carbohydrates, lean protein, and small amounts of essential fatty acids.

For example, Oatmeal made and then raisins, walnuts and some whey protein powder added.
or
Baked salmon + sweet potato + steamed broccoli

I also workout vigorously 3 times per week.

These are the techniques that I have used to maintain less than 5% body fat for the past 22 years (I am in my 40's).

Here are some links to site which advocates eating and exercise patterns which are similar to mine.
