My ex-boyfriend called recently, wondering what I was doing with my life. If he's called before, it's been more "Thinking about you"/probable booty call. I don't see a future with him...
Also had a guy from last weekend call... Was catching up with a girlfriend, and the guy was pretty drunk, asked for my number...
I want to run and hide, I want something that will go somewhere (I'm moving at the end of the summer), feeling generally distrustful towards men. Can I really just be friends? Should I call these guys back? Or will there be strings attached (=sex)?

Don't get jaded on us just yet. There are still some men who want friendship without sex - but these are few and far between, and usually already have a significant other. Still, we don't all do our thinking with our genitals...at least, not all the time. Most of my friends are women. It doesn't cause any problems - I love them all, but not in a physical way.
As for these guys you mentioned...you know the answer. They could be good for scratching an itch, but that's about it - and why go to them when you can get better elsewhere?

It's possible to have a 'just friends' relationship with guys. In fact I'm good friends with about 6 girls, none of which has a 'strings attached' clause in it.
You just gotta find the right guys to hang out with. There's some good ones out there, trust me.

You need to watch "When Harry Met Sally." There will always be sexual tension when you have a friend of the opposite sex. if you truly want to avoid men, you should join a convent and become a nun.
